Maya Abdominal Massage $160/$100 (2hr initial visit, 60min follow-up)
Maya Abdominal Massage is a non-invasive, external massage technique. It guides internal abdominal organs into proper position for optimum health and well being. The techniques combine traditional science (anatomy, physiology, and naprapathy) with Ancient Maya healing techniques. Some of the most common uses of Maya Abdominal Massage are for infertility, prostate health, digestive issues and menstrual irregularities. The technique works by relieving congestion and blockages to improve the flow of chi and fluids of the circulatory, lymphatic and nervous systems and to prevent the progression of chronic disease symptomology.

Thai massage also helps to improve flexibility, relieve pain and makes you more resistant to injury. Also available with Luk Pra Kob Treatment. Meaning “to massage with medicinal herbs,” Luk Pra Kop has been used in Thailand for centuries. A medicinal blend of steamy, organically grown herbs is rolled, massaged and pressed into tight muscles and onto problem areas and energy pathways. The heated compress soothes sore and aching muscles, enhances circulation, reduces joint stiffness and refreshes the skin.
Add on Herbal Balls for $25 Kinesio Taping
The Kinesio® Taping Method has taken the Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine world by storm. This amazing taping method was developed by Dr. Kenzo Kase over 25 years ago in Japan. Since then, it has become the gold standard for therapeutic and rehabilitative taping. This method of taping uses a uniquely designed and patented tape for treatment of muscular disorders and posture assistance, among many other applications. The Kinesio® Taping Method involves taping over and around muscles in order to assist and give support or to prevent over-contraction. This enables the individual to participate in his/her normal physical activities with functional assistance. Tape can be used in conjunction with other therapies, including hydrotherapy and massage therapy. The method and tape allow the individual to receive the therapeutic benefits 24 hours a day with both comfort and ease because it can be worn for several days per application. Currently, Kinesio® Taping is used in hospitals, clinics, and by many professional athletes and sports teams. Athletes such as Lance Armstrong and his cycling team use it regularly. Most notably, you might have noticed Kinesio® Taping being used extensively in the 2008 Olympics. Kinesio® Taping can help you too! It can help to keep a subtle stretch on a muscle, inhibit an overstretched muscle, help facilitate better posture, support an unstable joint, create space in a compacted area, assist with healing of specific conditions such as plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel, tendonitis, and more.
Infant Massage Classes
Infant massage is a gift of love – both babies and parents receive lifetime benefits. Infant massage is a wonderfully simple technique for parents to learn. It is a preventative practice that has been used by mothers throughout the ages, and more recently by fathers taking a more active involvement in the well-being of their child. Infant massage creates a positive interaction between parent and infant using systematic manual manipulation of soft tissues of the body. The therapeutic purposes may include promoting circulation of the blood and lymphatic systems, relaxation of muscles, relief of pain, and reducing discomfort due to teething, colic, gas and congestion. Infant massage creates a loving and fun way to communicate and interact with your child. Private or group classes available. |
