Nail shaping, cuticle conditioning and skin smoothing techniques are added to encourage healthy nail growth. OSHA Notice: TKI abides by OSHA standards maintaining a clean environment to prevent the spread of germs and disease. TKI does not use razors to shave calluses and advises all clients to avoid nail salons and spas that do. Shaving calluses by a nail technician is a very dangerous and illegal activity according to the State of Illinois and should be reported to authorities immediately.
