Nutrition Counseling Services
INITIAL NUTRITIONAL CONSULTATION – 2 SESSIONS - $160 This consultation is appropriate for general nutrition, weight loss, and individuals with specific medical concerns, such as newly diagnosed high cholesterol, blood pressure, diabetes, etc.
FOLLOW-UP SESSIONS & PACKAGES
Following the initial consultation, you will have a better understanding of your current nutritional status. TKI Nutrition Consulting is committed to helping you achieve your goals and provide continued follow-up services for your success. With each session, you will meet with the dietitian for 30 minutes. You may choose to substitute a telephonic session for a face-to-face follow-up if it is more convenient. Follow-up sessions are most effective when scheduled no more than 4 weeks apart.
FERTILITY ENHANCEMENT NUTRITION PACKAGE = $320 ($340 if purchased separately)
Initial Session (2 visits) + (3) 30-minute follow-up sessions
This package is specific for women wanting to get pregnant and optimize the health of their baby. The personalized eating and lifestyle plan is integrated with TKI's Director of Acupuncture, Jeanie Bussell's fertility recommendations, based on traditional Chinese medicine. This nutrition package is offered in addition to your fertility acupuncture sessions with Jeanie. TARGETED NUTRITION PACKAGE = $275 ($290 if purchased separately)
Initial Session (2 visits) + (2) 30-minute follow-up sessions
This package is great for specific dietary questions, menu planning ideas, and a quick tune-up of your current diet to get you back on the right track for well-being. You may add a spa service (for an additional charge) such as a massage or manicure/pedicure to personalize a great gift for a new bride, mom, or graduate, and for milestone birthdays (Fabulous Forty, Fit at Fifty, etc.). GROCERY TOUR - $165 (60-90 minutes)
Enhance your nutrition knowledge and food selection with a fun and informative session at the grocery store. Have your own personal dietitian do your food shopping with you! Bring your shopping list and together we will walk you through the grocery store and point out where to find the best items for your personal health needs. You will also learn tips to quickly find what you are most interested in on a food label, what all those health claims on packages mean, and discover alternatives and recommendations for healthier food choices specific to your health needs. The dietitian can meet you at your favorite grocery store (locations greater than 15 miles from TKI will include an extra mileage charge).
PANTRY MAKEOVER/IN-HOME COOKING DEMO- $165 (60-90 minutes)
Eating well is significantly influenced by your pantry and kitchen. This is an interactive service with your own dietitian to teach you how to stock your pantry and kitchen with the ingredients that support your specific health needs. You will learn about healthier food and cooking techniques based on the way you (and your family) eat. A second option, that may be added to the Pantry Makeover, is an in-home cooking demonstration on basic cooking techniques, equipment, and simple recipes for creating quick and healthy meals for you and your family (locations greater than 15 miles from TKI may include an extra mileage charge, as well as your purchase of ingredients for the cooking demo option).
