| What is Restylane®?
This is a safe and natural cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. It is the only filler made of non-animal based hyaluronic acid. This is a natural substance that already exists in the human body.

The results may last 4-6 months
Is there any downtime?
There may be some bruising in the injected area. You will experience mild to moderate swelling that may last for a few days.
There may be redness and some soreness. Make up may be applied What should I expect during the treatment?
The area will be cleansed. A topical anesthesia will be applied for comfort. The injection is performed with a very fine needle. The treatment takes a few minutes with mild discomfort.
What should I avoid?
Before and after treatment aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E should be avoided for a week.
When will I see results?
The results are immediate; however, there is some excess swelling that make it difficult to determine the end results. A follow up two weeks afterwards is requested at this time more can be injected if needed
How is Restylane® different than BOTOX®?
Restylane is a natural filler. In contrast, BOTOX is a drug that blocks nerve transmission and relaxes the underlying muscles. Sometimes both are needed to achieve expected results.
