Dermaplaning is a safe, simple, and effective procedure for exfoliating the top layer of the skin (epidermis).  In addition, it removes the fine vellus hair, or "peach fuzz."  It is a gentle and nonabrasive method of removing the top layers of inert skin.
 
The esthetician gently, and systematically scrapes away layers of dry, dead skin, and unwanted peach fuzz.  Clients are thrilled with the look and feel of their skin, and are amazed at how much younger their skin looks.
 
This procedure is a great alternative for pregnant women, those with rosacea and broken cappliaries, as well for those who cannot tolerate, or are not good candidates for microdermabrasion or heavy chemical peels. 
 
The removal of the dead skin cells, allows for your products to work more effectively, in addition to preparing the skin for other treatments.
