Community Acupuncture ![]() In the US, most acupuncture treatments are performed in private rooms. With community acupuncture, it is more of a style that is used in the Asian culture-which is usually a community setting. Community acupuncture involves treating several patients in the same room. Each patient is treated in a comfortable chair. Since the setting includes several patients, this allows for more time to be used efficiently in the office and therefore making it an affordable option. We have offer a sliding scale of $20-$40 for payment per treatment. We ask that each patient pay what is best for their budget. Along with the affordability of a community acupuncture setting, being in a group setting allows for patients to share the nourishing energy with another. This would be similar to groups which gather together for example, meditation-the togetherness raises the energy of each individual and enhances the overall healing for the group. A community setting also allows for families and friends to be treated at the same time and have the experience together. When coming in for community acupuncture, please wear loose, comfortable clothes. Most of the treatments involve using the needles from the elbows to the hands and the knees to the feet, so it will be easier to access with loose clothing. What we treat with community acupuncture: pain, headaches, anxiety, insomnia, allergies, and much more!
